My father was actually born (9-7-12) in Sullivan county but his father did not own a farm. Thanks so much for a response. Michael and Eva later moved to Quincy, Illinois and had the following children: Dennis (Anne McCoy), Mary, Charles (Mary Curley and Mary ??), Harold (Margaret Farwell), Eva (Manne Hegg), Michael, Margaret (Thomas Leskas), Ann Celine (Frank Cunningham), and Eileen (Robert Heniff). Bernard and Nora had the following children: John, Bernard, and Robert. John and Julia Moran had the following children: William, Edward, Mary (James Moffett), and Michael. Can anyone help add information?

I already have a good deal of information, but I am looking to fill in the gaps. Dennis Ryan, son of Patrick E. and Catherine (Dwyer), and brother to Margaret, Johanna, and Nanno, married Elizabeth Hannegan/Hannegon and had the following children: Eva (Michael O'Donnell), Catherine, Patrick (Elizabeth Kurohl or Page), Addison, Mary (John Fusselman), Margaret (Thomas Daly), Ida (Walter Evans), Elizabeth (Sterling Frazier), John, Marthy, Robert, Andrew (Mamey Guinn), and Annie. Dennis's mother Catherine remarried to another Ryan (unrelated) and had the following children: Timothy (Cora Fusselman), Hannah (?? Moberly), Pat, and Jack/John. Timothy Ryan had the following children: Bessie (Dan Goggin), Marie (Berne Riggin), Blanch, and Carl. Dennis Ryan was supposed to have had a 1200 acre farm about 5 1/2 miles east of Milan. He and Ike Guinn were supposed to have donated the land for St. Mary's Church and Cemetary. The first mass was held in Dennis's home before the church was built. Any help would be appreciated.

    2. Does anyone know what happened to or who this person married? Malissa or Melissa Woods born July of 1886 to John Woods and Nancy J. Clark (John Clark-Malissa Warnick) Other Children of John and Nancy (Nannie) Woods were Elza Woods, b. July 1888 and Ocie Gladys Woods b. July of 1889. Elza married Elsie Wellman and Ocie married Logan Grindstaff. I have no information on Melissa tho. In fact, I would like to hear from anyone that may have knowledge of any of these persons.

Wallace whose wife was Lucy Gaines Bruce. They were married in 1840 in Shelby County, IL. They came to Missouri in 1870, according to their daughter's obituary (Antoinette Wallace Robinson). Lucy died in 1898 in Pollock, MO. She is not in the Sullivan County Cemeteries listing. I have been unable to find this couple in ANY census, though I have found Lucy's parents in 1850. Any suggestions or information are appreciated.

I have a picture that would have been taken around green city area two of the people are my husbands relatives of whom we have a lot of info. they are lela adams, darrell adams as a baby he was born 1916 + he looks to be under a yr so pict was taken 1916. the other person is Mabel Smart a cousin of the Adams. I cant tell whether Mabel Smart is married but she looks old enough . So I am think9ing she is a Smart by marriage. There are Smarts + Martins buried in hawkeye cementary , green city, + my husbands family is also Adams+Martins. Any help I would like to get a copy of this pict to the Smart researchers. bye

I mean if you need more info. There are large biographical writeups on the people living in those counties at the time they were alive.
