I printed a copy of the 1912 Brown's Spring School photo that Sam West provided a few days ago, and took it to my dad. Pop looked at the photo and, without a moment's hesitation, said, "the first little boy in the front row is your Granddad Jackson". Herman William Jackson, son of William A. and Minnie Lee Maples Jackson of Brown's Spring, would have been 9 years old when the photo was made. His grandmother, Mary Ann Gold Jackson Rapp, was a first cousin of Lorenzo Dow Gold.
Paul, Which side in front row is your gdfather, right or left. There is a blond looking little boy on the right and a dark haired boy on the left. Sam ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul E.
