    1. [MOSTONE-L] Civil War code

    3. Dear List, I am trying to figure out the coding that I found on the Cemetery section of the Stone Co. webpage. I believe it refers to the Civil War, as my ancestor died in 1882. Co. H. 7, E, M.M. The above was engraved in his tombstone. I guess it is Company H, but then what? Anyone have books or websites that deal with this coding? Thank you, Cheri Mello
