Donna, I checked the 1860 census for Stone County. There is a Thomas Duckworth living in Pearce Township as a boarder in house #250. He is 51 years and was born in NC. I did not see another Duckworth nor the Lockhard name. I am babysitting my 13 month old ggrandson and it is difficult to get computer time. I didn't have time to check 1870. Sorry.
