I received info from a distant cousin last night that has me searching again. One of my gg uncles had a son by a woman named, she thought, Duncan. The name of the son was Houston Tice (he was later adopted by his stepfather. There is a Dunkle family not too far from the Macombs in the 1900 Stone census (James Twp.), in which there are 3 young daughters. The Dunkles are not in the 1910 census. There is a Duncan family 2 doors down in the 1910 census from Frank's father, (my gg grandfather) in the 1910 census, in White River Twp. Frank had several illegitimate children, according to my grandmother. This is the first one I've gotten a lead on. Does anyone know anything about these families? Houston was b 1902, according to the SSDI. Since he is not in the Duncan family in 1910, and the Dunkle family is gone, I would suspect the Dunkles. Vonda
