    3. >If it helps, I can clarify this family in 1910 (in White River Twp): 1956 55 DUNCAN ALBERT HEAD 27 < Cheri, From what I'm hearing these days, Frank was notorious for messing around with married women. I saw that on the census, but since Houston isn't there, unless you know more (like did Maud have a baby before her marriage to Albert?), I think it is likely the Dunkle family. At different times in his life, Frank was in hiding for various things--assault, moonshine making, it's even said he killed a few men. He wasn't a real nice man. I suspect he was in hiding at this time, too, because his brother and dad moved down to Shawnee by Feb 1911, and Frank was not in this census. Albert Duncan & family are living next to the Butlers, who are living next to the Macombs, in 1910. I know Uncle Frank carried a gun most of his life, even until he died at the age of 91 in CA. I think it is one of the Dunkle daughters in the 1900 census. They are not only closer in age to Frank at that time, but Houston was b 1902, and the Dunkles are not in Stone Co. in 1910. My cousin who told me of this said it was "something like Duncan", and Dunkle is reasonably close. Thanks! Vonda
