I might have him on a ship list, but he has a very common name, so I can't be sure. I found the ship information on her Petition for Citizenship (2nd or final papers). She called the ship the "Pensalor" (Peninsular...close enough, given her accent), and was off by 5 days on her arrival (she gave this info 50 years after arriving in America). She also named the port of enty (New York...so she came through Ellis Island....when I was there I really had this odd feeling. I can't explain it. But now I know why. I walked the halls where my great-grandmother was. Sort of eerie). If your grandfather didn't naturalize, but still was alive in 1940, you can get his alien registration. If you want information on how to do this, I have it. I can send it to you via email. Cheri Mello
