When I tried my first ones, I sent the request to Galena, as I was after 2 ancestors that died in Stone. They returned my request with the yellow (I think) forms. They said to mail them to Jefferson City, so I did. I'll state my relationship and check number and see what they do. They put some kind of code up by his name. So I think they found it and are waiting for me to say who I am. (I don't quite understand why that matters. How many people collect death certificates from the early 1900's?) Oh well.
