The Stone County Historical/Genealogical Society, with Stone County National Bank as our sponsor, is planning a limited edition Pictorial History for 2001 to celebrate our county's 150th birthday. We hope to trace the county's beginnings, history and people in photographs with captions to tell who, what, where and when. We need pictures, either original, a negative or an acceptable copy. Pictures should be sent in an envelope clearly marked with name and address and sent to: Stone County Historical Society, Box 63, Galena, MO 65656.
