Well, ya'll, Mostone has been so quiet the past month that I was able to hear voices from the past! That's right!! The Ancestors are very upset that no one is trying to find them. They have been gathering at the cemeteries, family reunions, and anywhere they thought someone might look for them. They said they waited patiently for someone to call their name... They stood quietly by, in hopes that a descendant would add their name to the family rolls. Some cried softly, when their silent pleas were ignored. They told me that they were very excited about the new census records because that meant that someone might be able to locate them! How about giving them some hope??? I believe that when we call out a name, they are reassured that we are looking for them! Perhaps they will answer back! Zepharine Berry, I am looking for you!!!
