I seached the Lawrence Co, MO website, but they don't have a grave-by-grave listing for Butler Cemetery. Rats. I'm looking at a Hembree and a Bowman that were buried in this Butler Cemetery. It seems odd that these men being no relation to Butler would be transported to a Butler Cemetery in another county. Could this be one of the displaced cemeteries when Table Rock Lake was formed? I have the transcription book for the Butler Cemetery in Lawrence county. It was transcribed in 1969. At that time there were 9 legible stones, although there were about 40 graves. I find no Bowmans or Hembrees listed although some stones had dates into the 1920s. There were Hembrees in the Marionville Cemetery, though - so Hembrees had spread into Lawrence County.
