Joyce, The descendents of Yelveston "Yelly" Bolen/Bolin & Lucy Saunders, originally from Giles Co. TN. My husbands' GG-grandmother was one of the twins, Tranquiller Bolen Dummit. They settled ultimately, pretty much around Kings Prairie, Barry Co MO. after leaving Stone Co. Her brother, Lorenzo Dow Bolen stayed in Stone Co., and maybe some of the others----don't remember off the top of my head at the moment. Well lets, see, daughters Elizabeth Bolen Peterson &Louisa Bolen Wells died in TX. Some of the children I don't have information on after the 1850 Giles Co. TN Census, but most of their 15 chidren came to MO, particularly Stone Co. The Bolin's I have started (as far I have determined) in MacDonald County and are mostly buried at the Owsley Cemetery. They are George Wesley Bolen and Georgia Ann Moser Bolen, their children are Mary Bolen Ellis, Nellie Bolen Sparks, Alfsom Olin Bolin, Martin Bolen and my g grandmother Bessie Marie Bolen McCullough. All of the children at one time or another were in Stone, Lawrence and Barry Counties also. They were also in ARK. I have often thought that the Yelly Bolen's might be related, especially since there was also a George W. Bolen listed in Lucy Bolen's probate, but no documentation to that. And yours?
