The only William Taylor I have that is even close to the date you have ( of the ones I have dates for) is a William, b. abt 1850, TN, who was the son of a Henry & Narcissa Taylor in Maury Co. TN. Henry was a brother of Claiborn , who I believe is probably the father of my William Thomas Taylor that came from TN, married Anna Owens at Potosi, MO, before coming to Stone Co. MO. I do not know if this William even left TN, so have no clue on him at all. Seems most of Claiborn and family stayed in Maury Co. I think one other child went to TX. Children from 1 m is James J. Taylor b 1881.m Carrie Amelia Miller ,and brother William Taylor. James J Taylor and Carrie had son William Edgar Taylor, who marrie my mother, Margaret Costlow. So far, I have not found him related to any of the other Taylors. So..I am related by blood or Marriage to at least 3 of the Taylor familes of Stone Co. The above Taylor has been a dead end for me. I have absolutely nothing on him. He appears in the Stone Co. census one time and then disappears. Where did he come from, how is he connected to other Taylors. ?????
