Hi Robin, I thought I would through in something I just resonly found out. A cousin sent me a picture of Mary Ellen Pennington nee Taylor and a Dan Taylor , and for the life of me I could figure how Dan fit in the Taylor family well he wasn't a Taylor by birth he was a Pennigton , his name was Daniel Pennington , and when my great Taylor uncle married his mother , she already had him he was about 4 years old. So he was raised by my Uncle as well so he used his name alot. So sometimes you will find this in a family , if they had not told me I would still be looking for how he fit in the Taylor family. One less Taylor to look for lol lol . Shirley --- new_moon_rising@juno.com wrote: > Jean, > Thanks for sharing. Yes, all that is also on Old > Settlers. LOL. Is there a Glen D. Taylor born 1900 died 1971 married Rosina Lee Smith who died July 10, 1992 in any of your Taylors? He is my maternal grandfather and I've not found any connection to the other Taylor's mentioned in these emails. Glen's mother was Francis Taylor I do not have her maiden name. They all lived in Galena for many years and traveled to California periodically. Glen died in Fairfield, California. Rosina Lee Smith Taylor died in Springfield and is buried in Stone County. If any of this rings a bell with anyone please let me know. Thanks!
