Stevens Arms & Tools had many different "boys rifles" and the "Crack Shot No. 15" was one of them. It was produced from 1900 to 1939 and available in .22, .25, .32, .38 and .44 long (all rimfire cartridges). Normal barrel lengths were 24, 26, 28, and 30 inches, but others could be had, and many were undoubtedly shortened later. There is a web site for Stevens Arms & Tools at: http://www.sportingcollectibles.com/stevens.htm Hope this solves the mystery. Thanks Jo, I've been searching all over the web. I should have known to ask the list first!
