A while back, I posted a picture of my fathers grandfather, Jesse Greenberry McGuire. The other day I recieved a note which read in part "Wondering if you may have any information on Thomas McGuire, the brother of Jesse Greenberry McGuire (whos picture was on the Mostone website)." She goes on to say: "I believe that Jesse Greenberry McGuire had a younger brother named Thomas McGuire who was married to Matilda Ann Bowling. They had 3 kids, Ethel McGuire, Luther McGuire, and Earl McGuire...Something happened to Thomas as a young husband because Matilda was married to James Noe (Noah) Branham. Matilda and James Branham (my husbands great grandparents) had 2 daughters. Agnes Branham was around 12, and her sister Dora Branham was around 8 when Matilda died. Do you know what happened to Thomas? If so, I am looking for leads." Anyone else researching the McGUIRE or BOWLING or BRANHAM lines and could help us connect these two families? Thanks!
