My mother-in-law said the location of the cemetery was between Galena and Reeds Spring. The cemetery is on the right-hand side of the road, between the road and the railroad track approx. 2 miles before Reeds Springs. Railey Creek is next to the railroad track, furthest from the road. Hope this makes sense. Regarding the list of folks buried there: are there more than what is listed on the Stone Co. Roots Web cemetery page? http://www.rootsweb.com/~mostone/cemetery/petemay.htm Thanks, Anne Cross May -----Original Message----- From: JoHartley@aol.com [mailto:JoHartley@aol.com">mailto:JoHartley@aol.com >JoHartley@aol.com [mailto:JoHartley@aol.com">mailto:JoHartley@aol.com >JoHartley@aol.com [mailto:JoHartley@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2006 12:14 PM To: MOSTONE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MOSTONE-L] Re: RAILEY CREEK CEMETERY I think the second cemetery near Railey Creek would be the May Family Cemetery. The people buried there are mostly May & Holt families. And according to my dad some people who had no family cemeteries. Most of the graves were marked with field stone and the headstones were shoved to one side of the field so hay could be mowed & cattle pastured. I have a list of those buried there. Fred Daughtery at the Galena Library had it for me. sincerely, Jo Holt Hartley ==== MOSTONE Mailing List ==== To UNSUBSCRIBE send a message containing the word unsubscribe to MOSTONE-L-request@rootsweb.com for Regular Mode or to MOSTONE-D-request@rootsweb.com for Digest Mode. ==== MOSTONE Mailing List ==== To SUBSCRIBE to the Digest Mode of the mailing list send an email message to: MOSTONE-D-request@rootsweb.com ==== MOSTONE Mailing List ==== To UNSUBSCRIBE send a message containing the word unsubscribe to MOSTONE-L-request@rootsweb.com for Regular Mode or to MOSTONE-D-request@rootsweb.com for Digest Mode. ==== MOSTONE Mailing List ==== To UNSUBSCRIBE send a message containing the word unsubscribe to MOSTONE-L-request@rootsweb.com for Regular Mode or to MOSTONE-D-request@rootsweb.com for Digest Mode.
