That is what I do too. I will go to search a county and then put in a year and search that way. I keep track of what years and what counties I search. I find that it works really well. I have found a handful of ancestors that I normally wouldn't have found by typing in their last name because they had been transcribed incorrectly. It may take more time searching that way but at least you probably wont miss anyone because of miss spellings. Shellie
