Hello Judy Yes you have the right Betty/Noel Henry. I have been doing geneology for a number of years but have to say that a few of my lines are not where I would like to see them. Sometimes I just have to take a break and start again fresh! I'll see what I can find to help you out on your search. Guess you all are doing well? Betty
Yes we are doing okay. Bill had his heart surgery April 28 and is doing okay so far. It was a new kind for atrial fib called atrial fib ablation, where they go in with 10 wires through the femoral artery and the carotid artery and shock the parts of the heart that are not working right. Only the top of his heart was working, so his heart was beating very fast, but not exchanging the blood through the bottom chambers, so it made him short of breath so bad he could not do anything. It was caused from when he had the Tuberculin Meningitis in 2000 that disabled him. He had gone into congestive heart failure at St. John's and had trouble again at Mayo in Minnesota and it had just gotten worse and finally showed up on his EKG as atrial fib a year ago. We had to wait a year for the surgery because there are only 2 doctors in Springfield that do it and they only do a few a month because they take so long to do. Bill's surgery was 6 1/2 hrs and they burnt 10 places his heart was not working right. He had his first checkup and passed it okay. He has another in Sept. and if it is okay, he may get off of some of the medication. They have him on 12 pills and coumadin to keep his blood thin, so he won't clot and have a stroke. The longer he is on the medicine the more chance he has of having a stroke and the more trouble he had breathing, so he was ready to have the surgery as soon as he found out about it. He said it was an easy surgery, but laying on your back for 16hrs. was the hardest. He has arthritis in his back and knee now and has more trouble with it than anything and hasn't been able to pitch horseshoes because of his knee, so that really makes him mad. I retired in 2002 to take care of him and I had 23yrs in at St. John's and you can retire at 55, so I did. The work loads in intensive care were just too much for me and trying to take care of Bill too was too much stress on my health. I have fibromyalgia and the stress was making it worse, and the doctor thought I would be better if I was off my feet and not under all of the stress of the intensive care work. I have done a lot better since I quit working. The neurologist found nerve damage in my leg from the fibromyalgia and that was causing all the pain and now I can pace myself and don't have to take any meds for that. St. John's could not find another job I could transfer to because I made too much money and they won't let you take a cut in pay, so I just took the retirement. I work on my quilts, my genealogy, and enjoy my 6 grandkids and Bill and I have time to fish and run around. I substitute for the secretary at the First Baptist Church when she is gone and I am VBS crafts director, in the Womens Mission and we do the Christmas store so we have a lot of sewing for that, and we keep the Pregnancy Center at Aurora supplied with baby layettes, mothers baskets, crochet afghans for the babies, and I make flags for all the soldiers families that are sent overseas as one of my projects, so I keep busy . Didn't have time to go to church when I was working and I missed that. I have written 2 family histories and published them so far and working on my 3rd one and I wrote several for the history books for my son in laws family when they published the new ones. His grandmother is the Eutsler I was looking for. I had the Wm B. Singer info, but thanks for looking. We thought maybe his grandmother might be related to the Eutsler's in Stone co. somehow, since his dad was born in Galena in 1931. Keep your eyes open in case you run across Charles Eutsler in you research. Thanks for the help. Hope you are both well. Tell Noel to call Bill sometime. He is always trying to find someone to go fishing with him. He sold his old bass boat and got a 17' Ranger and likes it a lot better. 723-0081 ----- Original Message ----- From: <NBJHENRY@aol.com> To: <MOSTONE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 13, 2006 10:04 AM Subject: Re: [MOSTONE-L] Eutsler family > Hello Judy > > Yes you have the right Betty/Noel Henry.
