Thanks to everyone that responded to my query on a burial outside Galena. I spoke with my sister and according to her the place where our gg grandmother was buried was next to Highway 13, first place on left after you cross Railey Creek bridge. According to her mother in law's brother there were once about twenty graves there. When they began to clear the field, they found one stone with the name "Hembree" on it and they took it and gave it to a Hembree in Galena. She had been told that the grave we are looking for would be under the barn which she understands is falling down. Now, is this the Railey Creek cemetary or was there another one in that area? Also, does anyone know if something can be done if these graves are found. Thanks
