Maxine Jones Lehmann is kin to Jones Union City was once known as School Bible in possession of Betty Wright, older dates written in by Mildred Crawford Sarah Ellen McElhaney dob 10/27/1858 Cloyd Hanafin and Rachel Leticia Jones marrriage10/31/1906 Willie Compton Billy Jones belonged to Woodsman Lodge in Billings Sarah Ellen Jones took insurance money to buy home place in Stone County Don Hanafin Rachel Leticia Jones Hanafin was mad at Aunt Bess Compton because she inherited the home place because of taking care of Orville and Dewey Jones [dh] Beulah Cornelia Little Walker Her mother was Zetta Jones who married David Little Beulah married Robert Franklin [Ted] Walker William Thomas Jones married Acenath Parthena [Ceny] Word and she died 7/20/1945. They had three children-Lizzie Jones Guthrie and twins-Zetta Jones Little and Etta. After the twins were born Ceny didn't want any more children. So the story goes she sent Lizzie to sleep with dad and she kept the twins with her. [birth control, par excellence] Asa Jones from Blue Eye would stay winters with various relatives. Beulah mentioned the following people-Lizzie and Efton Guthrie [not far from Hy 14 on Allen's old farm] and James Allen Jones and Ceny Ann Hawkins Prunty [She may have her Ceny's mixed up, it seems too many for me] James Allen Jones who was red-haired and red-bearded was the grandfather to the Velva and Edna Schoeneck. Rachel Leticia Jones Hanafin was a cousin of James Allen Jones and Allen Jones and Wm Riley Jones were brothers Riley Garfield Jones was "Tobe" and went with Aunt El. A short heavy-set lady used to come to seem them with Riley G. and Aunt El. Also a big, hard of hearing lady would come with them on other occasions. James A.
