MO (pre-Stone) was the son of Levi Moore and Mary Ann Ford. Mary Ann b abt 1836 Miller Co. MO d/o Henry C. Clinkenbeard and Elizabeth Louisa Bilyeu. William's sister Martha Elizabeth b Jun 1831 Overton Co. TN. Her 2nd husband was Mary Ann's brother, John b 24 Dec 1840 Miller Co. MO. Henry C. Clinkenbeard was Cherokee. Strong evidence suggests that Elizabeth Louisa Bilyeu, Levi Moore, and Mary Ann Ford were, also. The Moores moved to Taney (Stone) about 1833; Levi d abt 1842, Rebecca is in the 1850 Taney Co. Census. Henry owned land in Carroll Co. AR in 1836, and the family moved back and forth from there to Miller Co. MO through the early 1830s, according to the birthplaces of their children.
