    1. Homes I am looking for
    2. Hello again! Doncha just love it when I get on a tear??? LOL I am seeking photo's of two particular homes that hold fond memories for me. Not sure who these homes belonged to but will go by what I was told. 1. Old house that sat on the James river down by Bear Den Cove. May have been the old Miller home. There was a cemetery on a hill just across the pasture. House had huge wrap around porch.Old Directions: Just across the OLD bridge at Cape Fair heading toward Reeds Spring. Turn right and follow the trail along the river for miles and miles...and wind down into a valley. I believe the house is under water now. but would love to have a photo of it. For some of you old timers, The Costlow brothers lived there before the lake went in. The brothers then moved up by the Selbys' store. 2. Old house up on the hill behind Cape Fair. Someone said it was the old Carney Place? Old Directions: Go up to the old Maud Costlow place (behind the store)on the hill at Cape Fair, crawl thru the fence and follow an old wagon trial up the mountain. It also had a huge front porch. Anyone recognize these two old homes? I would love to have photo's of these two old homes. Robin Don't forget to Vote!! http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~biddle/settlers.htm
