    3. My warmest thanks to all of those responding to my question regarding Lillie Jackson. I will give her a call at the OMRHCC in Crane this coming Thursday and if all goes well I will correspond with her via snail mail. I do hope she is well (and that she has all her data with her). For anyone interested: The family bio Lillie Jackson wrote in the "History of Stone County Missouri" she stated that James Langley was married to Luvisa Hodges. My research leads me to believe that James actual name was "John" and that he married Lavica Proctor. The Proctors, Hodges, and Langleys seem to have multiple connections with each other dating back to Tennessee. Lavica had a sister, Elizabeth Ann Proctor that married a George Hodges(son of Welcome Hodges). Welcome's second marriage was to another sister of Lavica, named Mary Ann Proctor. I also have Mary Jane Langley (dau of Lavica) married to an Amos Hodges (son of Welcome?) 3. Hello, Lillie's father was Tom Langley, and his father was D. Granville Langley.......I believe the D. is for Dennis Granville Langley but he went by Granville. My connection to Lillie is through her marriage to Wade Jackson. Wade's mother Martha Turner Jackson was my great-grandaunt. I don't know anything else about the Langleys beyond D. Granville Langley. I did recently see in one of Lillie's books that D. Granville's wife was Deborah Eaton. Perhaps some of this info will help in your search. Jo Descendants of D. Granville Langley 1 D. 3. Thank you, Jo, for the information on Lillie's family - it is helping to fill in some of my "unknowns". Lillie was correct in stating that Deborah Eaton was the wife of Dennis Granville Langley. Deborah was born December 14, 1849 in Arkansas and died July 7, 1927 in Stone Co., MO. They were married August 29, 1872 in Stone Co., MO. Deborah and Dennis Granville Langley are both buried in Anderson Cemetery, 3 miles south of Hurley, Stone Co., MO. Deborah was the daughter of William Seigle & Martha Jane (Thompson) Eaton who are also buried in Anderson Cemetery. Martha Jane was previously married to a William Spears. For anyone having an interest, the following are some census records regarding Deborah's family: 1850 Long Creek TWP (Sugar Loaf TWP), Carroll Co., Arkansas census, page 134B.
