My guess based on what I remember my grandmother telling me, and what her mother wrote and from census records is that the Levi and Mary married in Ky, lived there a while and hence some children born in Ky. They then moved into Tn. and more children were born. Then as they were moving across Ark. to Mo. another child was born. After they settled in Mo. their last child was born. Of course, this is just a guess, no proof. Good to hear from you. I have also been in contact with a decendant of Garrett Moore and Mary Ann's son John. She just sent a book to me on the Williams Moore family. Williams' sons told her that Levi and Mary Ann migrated to Stone County from Tennessee, but no counties mentioned. (I am referring to Williams, son of Garrett) There are so many Garretts and Williams that it is hard to keep them straight. Anyway, I will keep searching and post if I find any definite information.
