Okay, got a question...(sorry to post to all 3 lists, but Someone May Know Something....<S>) As some know, I'm trying to straighten out the Overstreet/Schwyhart/Yates, etc, so on, and so forth, bunch. Okeydoke, Abt. 1866, a Florrence Keith b abt 1843 FRA (1870, 1880 Taney Census) md Amanda J. Oliver b abt 1845, Taney Co. MO, d/o Frances Archie and John Oliver. They had 4 sons, John, Amos, Sebastian, Lonnie. Don't know what happened to them after 1880. I found that a long time ago. Then, this week, in diving into this Stone Co. group, I find that Antoine Keith b 1852 GER md bef 1880 Eliza Ann Yates b 10 Feb 1856 MO, d/o John P. Yates and Mary Jane Bailey/Beal. Now, he went by Tony, and there is at least a Schwyhart and a Pitts named after good ol' Tony. Probably more. They are just md in 1880 Stone Census. By 1900, Tony and Eliza Ann are in Taney Co., Oliver Twp, md 20 years with 5 preg. and 3 children still alive-- Mary C. John T, and James W. There is a Jefferson Keath in 1860 Greene, but his kids and these don't match up. None in 1860 Christian. Nor in 1860 Lawrence. 1910 shows Antoine and son James living not far from the Lewallens and Olivers in Oliver Twp, Taney Co. Antoine is now shown as being b GER. James is married to an M. W. Wilson--I'm afraid she's related to me, on my dad's OTHER side...(OH NO! She is! aaarrrrrrrrrgh She's my Grandpa George Wilson's cousin through his g uncle Frank and uh, oh, Sarah Lewallen.) Nephew? John is also in Oliver Twp 1910 Taney, md to Bessie Ellison with 2 kids. Anyone know anything about these? You won't believe what started it...a Cyrus Bell Schwyhart b 1857 OH md 1 Jan 1893 Ollie May OLIVER, and I'm trying to find THAT marriage, and if there is a connection between Ollie and Taney Co. Olivers, and if Antonie and Florrence Keithe are bros. or something. Ollie and Cyrus didn't apparently marry in Stone, Taney, or Carroll Counties. After all, what's the chances 2 guys with the same last name show up in the area at about the same time, from Europe? Maybe they're Huguenot? Since I can't even get my folks to the shores of the Atlantic, I don't know a lot of European history yet...<S> Vonda
