Does anyone know how Ada Sheppard fits into the Pitts family? We know that Mexico Pitts m Diana "Dicey" Sheppard. Then on the 1870 James Census, we have Beda Alice Sheppard at age 5 living with her mother Ada Sheppard. By 1880 she is living as a grandaughter to Mexico Pitts and her brother Danial/David is living next door. Heres the thing.. Ada does not fit into any of the Children I have listed for Mexico Pitts & Dicey. Can anyone help sort this out? Thanks!!
