Hello List, Can anyone tell me about a William Balew that was born in Mississippi about 1832. His wife's name was Nancy and she was born about 1833 in Ill. I found them in the 1860 Taney County Census, Swan Township. The children listed were Jacob 1848 AR., Cleveland 1855 AR., John 1858 MO., and Harriett 1859 MO. The child that I am interested in is Jacob. My great great grandpa's name shows only initials in the 1880 Christian County Census. Initials were J. A. born about 1849.
