Daniel Titus 13 Aug 1893--# 1936 on the 1900 census, Wms Twn) Notice Malissa is on the 1880 census with James (Jonas) Edwards Jonas is on the 1850 census in Jackson Co Al --His father (Elihu ) Jackson Edwards, his mother Nancy ---?--- Edwards Elihu's father is Claiborne Edwards, b 1800 Pheba, 81 in 1900 is Elihu's sister and also on the 1850 Jackson Co census. Transcribers frequently can't believe what their seeing and turn the name Jonas into James or Jones. Elihu is usually transcribed as Elisha even though it is plain enough when you review the script.
