This is a recipe that my Grandmother use to make and I have always enjoyed. RHUBARB DESERT Crust: 1 cup sifted flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons butter 1 beaten egg 2 tablespoons milk Filling: 3 cups rhubarb 1 package red fruit-flavored gelatin Streusel Topping: 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup flour 1/3 cup butter Combine flour, baking powder, salt and butter. Mix as for pie crust. Add beaten egg and milk. Pat in bottom and sides of 9-inch greased pan. Place rhubarb in crust. Sprinkle streusel topping which is made by mixing sugar, flour, and butter together. Bake in moderate (350°) oven 45 minutes. About 9 servings. My Mother was raised at Wheelerville, Missouri.
