Iva Merritt was my great aunt. She was a sister to my grandfather Raymond Evert Merritt. I believe Benjamin was his father and C. Bethel was his grandpa and Nathaniel was his great grandfather. I know Iva lived in Crane, Mo. for several years but her final years were spent in Texas with her daughter, I think. I am not sure where she is buried. I know she still has children and grandchildren in the Crane area. Jeannie, Great to hear from you!!! Iva Merritt was my Great Grandmother. I am looking for info on her husband Fred Pope. Do you have any names of the children living in the Crane area that I could try to contact? Fred Pope and Iva had a son Theron Joseph Pope who had Loren William Pope (my father). My mother and father were divorced when I was very young and I have not had contact with that side of the family but recently I have been told that they have no additional info.
