I'm not sure. I ran "Bolin" through Stone Co, MO on Ancestry for 1860, 1870, and 1880 and didn't see any similar names for Alf (short for Alfred or ???). Maybe someone else on the list knows? Cheri On 7/16/06, BANDGMETAL@aol.com <BANDGMETAL@aol.com> wrote: > > Is there two Alf Bolins?

Alfsom O. Bolin was (just off the top of my head) in MacDonald County or Kansas at that time, for there were two daughter's born to his parents in KS both died by 1885. Alfsom had brother Martin and three sisters Nellie, Mary and Bessie. Cora and Josie died in KS. By 1900 the family was back in Stone- Barry counties or possibly Berryville from the Obits we found. I posted the George W. Bolin family picture on the Barry County website. I don't know where the photo was taken. I just know they lived in MacDonald, Stone, Barry counties in MO, KS and Berryville, AR.
