    3. http://www.sheltons.net/genes/12.html John Witten Bilyeu Born: 14 Mar 1809, Overton Co, TN Married 28 Jul 1832, Crawford, Pulaski Co, MO by Andrew Bilyeu, J.P., to Sarah Francis Harp Died: 2 Mar 1903, Spokane, Christian Co., MO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes for JOHN WITTEN BILYEU: John Witten Bilyeu was born Mar 14, 1809 in Overton County, TN - Died Mar 2 1903 in Christian County, MO. John Witten Bilyeu, was a resident of Arkansas for a period of time. He was the postmaster of Kings River in what is now the Kinsgston Area of Madison County from 1837-1838. John Witten Bileu was appointed as first Postmaster for Kings River, Arkansas on 7 September 1837. He was also the "foster" parent of the infamous Alf Bolin, a thug who raped, robbed and left a trail of murder victims over a wide area between Ozark, Missouri and Harrison, Arkansas. Searching on 'Alf Bolin' connected to this interesting site which contains the information that Alf was living with the John Witten Bilyeu family at one time. If he is not found with the calvin Cloud family in 1860 perhaps he is with the Bilyeus. Do read the story of the Bull Creek Shoot Out.
