In doing a little more research, I have discovered that I was in error as to Mary Dotson who married Samuel Edwards being the daughter of Thomas & Louisa Dotson. This Mary Dotson Edwards, was born approx. 1840 in TN, whereas, Mary E. Dotson, daughter of Thomas and Louisa, was born approx. 1854 in MO. Thank you, Robin , for bringing this discrepancy to my attention. In "The History of Stone County" on page 399, there was confusion on my part in how I interpreted what I read, and after re-reading, and doing a little more Census hunting, I discovered that I had made an assumption that was incorrect. I am sorry for this, and any of the list members that took what I said on this list as fact, please correct your information. It does seem that Mrs. Edwards' fathers' name may have also been Thomas, but not the one I had her connected to. Wilma
Also found a Wilson Cemetery in Stone County. It is listed at _www.findagrave.com_ (http://www.findagrave.com)

Can not this be taken care of not on this list but between the moderator and the person who sent this email of another persons posting???? I did not know we were to take care of private info on here I thought this is a genealogy and history board???? Rena Colorado
I am curious to what you are talking about? I got the email too but didn't bother to go to ebay and look to see what it was about. Did this person steal some of your work and is now trying to sell it? If so, can't there be something done about that?.... Really makes me not want to put up any of my findings on the internet if that is the case. Shellie
Folks, please return to using the MOSTONE list for your genealogy research only. The problem with the message that came through earlier with the Ebay link has been resolved in a private email. Please limit your postings on the MOSTONE list to genealogy and if you have issues with a post please address those issues privately to the person who posted. We value each subscriber to MOSTONE and want this list to remain as it should be - for the purpose of your genealogical research in the Stone County area. Richard & Shirley, Ok! Your Mary "Polly" Edwards married to Samuel, is Mary Dotson, a sister to Thomas Dotson who married Sarah Elizabeth Philibert in Stone Co. She was the daughter of Joseph Philibert & Peninah Yoachum, and a sister to my Charles Edward. Philibert. Thomas and Sarahs' sons, William Riley Philibert married Mary Elizabeth Edwards, daughter of Marion & Ellen. Now to Zebedee Taylor. There is a round-about connection. Zebedee's brother, Samuel McDaniel Taylor, Jr.,married to Sarah Suter, had a daughter, Martha Jane, that married John Washington Carey.Their daughter, Cynthia married Garrett Moore, the son of John Moore and Nancy Philibert. There are so many intermarriages among the different Taylors, Owens, Edwards Philiberts, Beals and so on and so forth, that children of all these marriages probably have a blood relation to us. <grin> Wilma -------Original Message------- From: Richard Edwards Date: 09/05/06 20:04:13 To: MOSTONE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MOSTONE-L] Cemetery Location Needed Wilma I believe the Sam you refer to is the Sam listed below. Hi Shirley , This is Shirley Carter nee Taylor , are we related My 2nd great grandfather's name was Zebedee Taylor born in 1805 in Pulaski, Kentucky , he was son of Samuel McDaniel Taylor and Mary Taylor nee Brinson who was also fro Ky. I don't think Hannah was Zebedee's daughter but was Samuel McDaniels Taylor daughter. Zebedee was married to a Mary Jane Grooms who was born in 1806 NC. however she came to Missouri with him in 1850's and died in 1860 there and Zebedee remarried a martha Palmer , a widow women with children , and Zebedee died in 1873 , don't know for sure where buried , but if we are talking about same one , then you just told me where he is buried , if so maybe his first wife Mary Jane is buried there also. If you can cxonferm this , I would appreciate it very nuch you can email me a shirleyacarter@veriaon.net any time , Have a nice day. Shirley Carter nee Taylor P.S.
