    1. [MOSTONE] INTERNET TRANSCRIPTIONS
    2. Peter or Josephine Dunne
    3. MOSTONERS, I am going to comment on the subject above then I want the members on this list to either post their GENEALOGY ONLY questions or comments to the list and address ALL other opinions and comments to the sender directly. I have spent years (literally) sitting in front of a microfilm reader and computer burning up my eyes, and taking time away from my family and friends to transcribe materials for the benefit of researchers in Stone and surrounding counties. I WILL NOT let an amoral person copy my years of work burn it to a CD and sell it for a lousy few bucks. If you think why pull it off the internet now that the deed is done? If someone is going to sell my work don't you think I should be the one making the money? It is called copyright infringment at best and fraud at worst. On the advice of my attorney yesterday I pulled everything transcribed by me off the internet until the matter is resolved. I'm not advising anyone else to go this route. It is my personal choice. All my transcriptions have been taken off of the Stone County website. The ones done by volunteers remain there and will remain there unless someone requests their transcription be removed. End of subject. Let us return now to what this list was intended to be ---- FOR GENEALOGY. Thank you all for your patience. Jo Dunne Stone County Coordinator

    3. Question, Why would you pull the 1930 census off the site as that census is public now anyway and some people can't afford to have Ancestry.com to get same information only at a cost? Just wondered. 1. [MOSTONE] Website Updates
    2. Carmon Burgess
    3. Dear List, Just a note to let you know that I am in the process of updating my websites ..especially the email links. While I am at it, thought I would try to add a bit of information as well as remove some. Robins Place: Costlow family outline has been added to. Have a look, coz you might find a new connection. Old Settlers: Still working on...have added a short outline for Beasley family. This family still needs lots of work. I have several Beasleys in my files that I can't connect to those listed! Any help appreciated with those! Also have several more pages to fix on mail links.. Old Settlers Books: I removed the link for buying those online. I no longer have that web site. However, the link for ordering is still there. Also, you might check ebay..sometimes I list them there. I list them at the same fixed price..so no worry of having to bid. If you're not sure of the listing..just email me. :} Finally...I am still working on the 1900-1930 books. Still missing several families so if you have someone listed on the census..drop me a line. They may be someone I am looking for!! OH..just one more little bitty thing..Someone asked me why I didn't have the Anderson family up....well...coz I just don't have enuff information on them. Same with the Dunn family!! Robin Biddle hogrotten@yahoo.com

    1. [MOSTONE] Lucinda TAYLOR, Isaac TAYLOR
    2. Diane Taylor
    3. I have a list of TAYLORs from Nettie Mae's Cemetery Records. A Lucinda TAYLOR is buried in Lick Creek Cemetery. Died April 13, 1905 Can anyone on list tell me what family this Lucinda is from? I am wondering if she is the Lucinda who was married to my John TAYLOR? I do not know what county Lick Creek Cemetery is in. I also am wondering about an Isaac TAYLOR who is buried in Mitchell Campground Cemetery in Polk County. Does anyone know what family he fits into? Date of death is listed as 06-Oct-59 (would that be 1859 or 1959?) Thank you for any help you may be able to give. Diane Biggar-Taylor

    2. PJ
    3. Alright, a couple of years ago we had a feeding frenzy on this list, and several among us came up with some killer family-held, time-honored and generally venerable recipes. We sifted through quite a number of chocolate pie formulas...I'd love to resurrect the crashed harddisk drive that contains that info. Any remembrances? Thanks - PJ
