    3. Eleanor you can email me at redpep@msn.com if you like. I remember my mom mentioned the name of Stockstill and an older man by that name lived as a boarder for awhile with my grandparents in small town in Lewis Co WA. He was from MO. I would like to find out who he was. I'll check on his name again. This was in the 1930 census. My Melton's are from TN to Christian Co MO. My gg.grands were James Mattison Melton & Mary Jane Pendleton. Best regards. Mostly, I would like to know why Mary Catherine Cornell (Connell/Cornwell), born March 15, 1854, married to Samuel Branham, born October 15, 1846, married him under the last name of Roberson (Robeson/ Robertson). Does anyone have this information? They were married in Stone County on July 4, 1873. Does anyone know if Mary had a prior marriage? 3. Robin, I know we discussed this several weeks back. about making it invitation only by you to the secure, password protected part. Is that how you are planning to do it? , as anyone could put in a password and have access and still thieve away. I don't know what it entails, but that gives you control on who has access to that part. You have been involved with the sites so many years that I trust your judgment on who is trustworthy and who is not. 3. Mary Lou, Thanks for your kind words, but Jo Dunne was our Stone County Website coordinator! OUR Jo will be missed more than anyone can conceive and I can't imagine anyone who will be able to fill her shoes!! I only run the Old Settlers Of Stone County site, Robins Place, and do research for my Old Settlers books as well as transcribe records for MoStone and my sites. The 1930 Census was transcribed my Wilma Fields and I and then placed on Old Settlers with a link in MoStone. This is explained so that others like yourself will not be confused as to who was in charge of MoStone. Jo Dunne deserves every pound of credit that can be heaped upon her for her fabulous job!! 3. This might be a good idea, but it only works if you limit the people who can access it to people you can trust.. I was administrator for another organization's site for several years. We were able to code documents as to whether they were to be public or not. No one could view anything that was not public unless they had a username and password. At least this way you have some control of who is viewing the site and you can monitor a login list if you so choose. Nothing is perfectly safe however. I do subscribe to Ancestry, but having the specific Stone County info at your fingertips has been mighty nice.
