    1. Re: [MOSTONE-L] 1920 census

    3. Joy, Just put a question mark after the part that you have been able to read. Someone may recognize the family names and be able to tell who it is. The 1920 Census is very faint in several spots and then names simply can't be read! I found several bad patches in mine that I wasn't able to transcribe. Enlarging the print and using a magnifying glass was no help either. Not sure what the problem with your Word program is. Are you trying to attach a word document or the spreadsheet? Open your mail program, fill out your send information. then click on insert at the top of your window. Next, click on file attachment. A box should open asking you to locate the file you want to send. Navigate down to MSWorks, then documents. Your spread sheet you be in the list of documents. Once you have found your spreadsheet in the list, select it, then hit open. It should place it in your email program. Hit send ...and you're off and running. What I think you may have done is tried to send it as a text file. <I did that the other day by mistake> Let me know if this helps! If not...Jo is wonderful at this stuff...<G> Robin -----Original Message----- From: joy <beatsme@netins.net> To: MOSTONE-L@rootsweb.com <MOSTONE-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Friday, July 28, 2000 7:13 AM Subject: [MOSTONE-L] 1920 census >Hi All - > >I've been working on the 1920 White River Township. >Two things - I'm really stuck on a name that seemingly can't possibly be what I am reading. >It looks like what the enumerator wrote was PUSR - but then he wrote over it & without the original film this is the best I can come up with. >Anyone got a better idea of the actual name? >Also, I have this saved as a Word Spreadsheet. 3. Hi All - I've been working on the 1920 White River Township. Now, when I've tried to send a short clip of this to myself to see if it's sending properly, it just isn't working as a sent item. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? It shows up as an attachment in the email body, I type in the address, etc. & hit the send button - then nothing - it doesn't show as sent & I don't get a message back to myself either?
