    3. Robin, Heck, that's a few years away, and by that time who knows, you might be ready for a new project! If the sky falls in, maybe by then you will have researched all of the families in your books! LOL But, wasn't it Cheri who organized one year and several people did a certain township? That worked out very well. It's amazing what can happen with just a little bit of help! And many KUDOS to Wilma cause I know she has worked on lots of things she never mentions. 1. "Stone Co Cemeteries" by Langley & Wilson
    2. I'm backtracking over some of my early research, just as I was getting into genealogy. I footnoted a book called "Stone County Cemeteries" by Langley & Wilson. I'm guessing that I ran across this book on one of my genealogy expeditions. I probably found it in the Shepard Room in Greene Co, or at the Ozarks Genealogy Society. In my early work, I copied the stuff down and noted where it came from. I thought I took a photo copy of the pages too (including the cover & publisher's page). I guess I didn't in my early work. Does anyone have a copy of this book? I need to clarify a few things. Thanks, Cheri Mello Torrance, CA Researching: Duncan, Hembree, Hood, Jones, Logan, Pinkley, Rhodes

    3. Did they purchase together? If so, possible father/son. On the J W & Wm, was it a purchase or sale? Find the other 1/2 of it to see what the documents read. Unless it's still in the family, every purchase will have a sale at some point, won't it? Well, unless they just walked away from it - Joy/MO Jerry Johnston wrote: >I am looking for information on the William and Nancy Mitchell that were in the Greene Co. area in 1823. 1. Re: [MOSTONE-L] Moore Family
    2. My guess based on what I remember my grandmother telling me, and what her mother wrote and from census records is that the Levi and Mary married in Ky, lived there a while and hence some children born in Ky. They then moved into Tn. and more children were born. Then as they were moving across Ark. to Mo. another child was born. After they settled in Mo. their last child was born. Of course, this is just a guess, no proof. Good to hear from you. I have also been in contact with a decendant of Garrett Moore and Mary Ann's son John. Will post any new info that I find. ----- Original Message ----- From: cjelliott To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2005 5:52 PM Subject: Re: [MOSTONE-L] Moore Family Thank you so much for your reply.
