I realize old age is a creepin up on me, but I think Daniel, what he was called in school, is younger than I am. I was born in 1959 and the story I remember is that he was possibly as young a 4 when we started class together in 1965 at Reeds Spring. I had always wondered what had happened to the kids. We moved to Oklahoma in 1972 and I pretty much lost track of my class mates after that. Brian Shay >Yes Tonie this is Cheryl Doerr. Dale Thomas Daughter who is married >to Ruth Seaton. We would appreciate it, if the subject line could be changed to SEATON, HENSON or whatever name is being researched/answered (instead of just "newbie"). Some person who is related may just ignore the message because it does not have the SURNAME listed. Thanks so much, Diane

This may be a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway......Anyone have any idea why the names "Frances Marion" seemed to be so popular during the mid 1800's? I know I have two in my family tree and seems like the two names get linked together a lot. Yet I can't think of anyone particularly famous with those names. I always makes me wonder. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wilma Yelton" <jeaniy@sbcglobal.net> To: <MOSTONE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 19, 2006 2:17 PM Subject: Re: [MOSTONE-L] a newbie to the list > My grandmother (dad's mother) was Cuma Henson, daughter of Frances Marion > Henson......any help ??? > Jeani Yelton > > BILLTONIR@aol.com wrote: > I have Ira D. If you are old enough to remember Walt Disney show back in the 1950, there was a show on the "Swamp Fox". Don't remember who played the part, I didn't remember the real name of the "Swamp Fox", just the scene where he made the birds fly up to let the men know to meet for a battle.
