He is on the 1850 census with them in Dubois County, Indiana. In 1860 he is living next door to my g-g-g-grandfather Diar Burton in Dubois County. In 1870 still in Dubois, but first name spelled Samel. There is a list of members listed for the Baily Church in Hall Twp., Dubois Co., IN in a book called WILSON'S HISTORY OF DUBOIS COUNTY, INDIANA. I believe that Samuel is probably the Sanders in that list, but "no way to be sure." Was he CHRISTIAN CHURCH (DISCIPILES OF CHRIST)? My g-g-g-grandfather, Humphrey Sanders, may be Samuel's brother, but Humphrey was out of the household by 1850. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
