Does anyone have any information on a Richard Newkirk that was listed in 1860 Stoddard County Census? I believe he was a minister as he married our gggrandparents in Cape Girardeau Co. in 1854. He was listed in Cape Girardeau Co. census in 1840 and 1850. May have been father or brother to a Martha Newkirk married to William Tippet. I am researching the Tippets and believe there might be a connection. Thanks for any help. Betty
