There were married in 1847 in Hancock County, KY; Hancock County., KY. 1829-1957 Marriage Book 1 B Page 59. 1870 Martin and his family show up on the 1870 Stoddard County, MO Census, Liberty TWP, Post Office Althia. 1880 Martin & family are still in Stoddard County, MO 1882-1891 Martin & Cassandra bought & sold land in Polk County, Arkansa near the towns of Hatfield & Vandervoot between June 1882 & 1891 near Vandervoot & Hatfield. Their children were: 1848 George Washington b. Hancock Co. 1851 Elizabeth b. Hancock Co. 1853 William b. Spencer Co., IN. 1855, May 18, John Albert b. in Hancock Co. (G-Grandfather) 1858, Isabell b. Hancock Co. 1861, Alexander b. IL 1865, Malinda b. April 21 I surely would like to know the names of Martin's father and mother and where they were born. The 1860 KY census says that Martin was born in Kentucky but where? The 1880 census says Martin's parents born in France---Could this be?
