He was married to Elizabeth (from NC) and to them were born: Henry W., Jesse H., Susan E., Missouri Ann, Susannah, and Elizabeth Jane (my g-g-grandmother). All the children were born in MO. They left for Texas about 1855. Elizabeth married Thomas Jefferson RHOADES, son of James E. and Susan RHOADES, who were from TN and KY and who had come to the county about the same time as the LAVENDERS. They also left the state and traveled to Texas with the LAVENDERS.
