I transcribed the Watkins and Rainey funeral records, and hard copies are now in the Keller Public Library in Dexter. Stoddard Co. Genealogy Society members do lookups for a nominal fee for nonmembers if you can't travel there in person. The library contains the Watkins records from the Dexter facility from 1933 through 1968, and the Bloomfield facility from 1936-1973. The Dexter records also contain some records from the Watkins' homes in Parma and Rombauer. The Rainey records (which begin as Blankenship-Strickland, then Strickland-Rainey, then Rainey Funeral Home) span 1933 through the early 1990's. That facility is now known as Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home. I can do limited lookups if I have the date of death. I also have a copy of the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Records of Bloomfield, 1934-1968, transcribed by Janice L. Jones, which I am happy to check. (A copy of that book is also in the Keller Library.) LeAnn
