My Hicks are also from VA, early 1700's. They migrated to Smith Country TN in the early 1800's. They then moved to Southeast MO in the late l840's. early 1850's. Most settled in Stoddard Cty, but others were in Madison etc. What are the chances that there is no connection? Very Small. After 30 years of research, 10 pretty intensive, I just stumbled across cousins in Western MO. It is delightful!!
