He had a Uncle Clarence (Cotton)Hicks born 1912 and he is married to Beulah. They had six daughters. Clarence was one of ten children of Albert Hicks and Mary Magoline Carter. They came from Hardin and Pope County Illinois. Albert is the son of Miles, son of William born in Georgia who migrated to Hardin, son of Issac who was born in North Carolina and migrated to Georgia, who is the son of Robert Hicks born in New York and migrated to North Carolina.
