Her sibling is George A. McPheeters (b. May 1858 in MO; deceased 07 Jun 1925; burial North Antioch Cemetary, Bloomfield, Stoddard Co. MO). George married (14 Sep 1879 Stoddard Co., MO) Minerva Carolyn Sifford (b. Dec 1857 MO; deceased 1927; burial North Antioch Cemetary, Bloomfield, Stoddard Co., MO). Their children were Lithia M. McPheeters (b. Aug 1881), William A. McPheeters (b. Feb 1885), Alva E. McPheeters (b. 1888), Zora E. McPheeters (b. May 1892), and Louis McPheeters (b. Nov 1894). My information suggests that Thomas McPheeters was the second child of George McPheeters (b. 25 Apr 1813 Hawkins Co., TN) and Milly Armstrong (b. Abt. 1811 TN; d. Aft. 1860). By my records, this indicates that Thomas was a nephew of John Bovell McPheeters (b. 25 Feb 1828 Hawkins Co., TN; d. Jan 1905 Butler, MO; burial Cypress Creek Cm, Flatwood, MO). The information I have on John Bovell is that he married (10 Apr 1854 Stoddard Co., MO) Susana Clementina Vashti Kelly (b. 1834 Alexander, IL; d. 18 Nov 1869 Flatwood, MO; no issue) and subsequently (1870) Margaret Howell, with whom he fathered nine children, one of whom I presume is your ancestor. There is too much information on all of these for me to list - in part due to the terrific research of Harold McPheeters, who lives not too far from me in Atlanta. It has been tremendously frustrating not to be able to locate Mary Elizabeth's burial site. I have not been able to find an obituary. One of those nagging missing pieces. I would be happy to send to you a McPheeters descendants file, if you would like, particularly so we could compare notes on the accuracy and completeness of data. Please let me know. All the best.
