However, I wasn't looking for it so I can't be sure. I research Hicks and have information from 1850's - 1870's. What I do have is an affidavit on behalf of my great-great-grandmother's widows pension application submitted by Samuel Scism who was friend and neighbor to my Stones, Campbells and Hicks.
