Here is some information I have researched on Hagys in Stoddard Co., MO. There are two Robert M. Hagy and both are listed in the 1900 Census of Liberty TWP, Stoddard Co., Mo. (I have a copy of the Census). Henry and Rachael (Hazlip) Hagy had a son Robert M. Hagy b. Nov 11, 1871, d. Apr 29, 1952 (per gravestone in Hagy Cem. (have picture)). Also on the gravestone is Anna b. Feb 17, 1875, d. Sept 28, 1967. I believe this to be a second wife to Robert M. Hagy because on the 1900 Census he is listed just above his parents (Henry & Rachael) and his wife name is Dora. I also found on the 1900 Census Robert M. Hagy listed under his mother Menervia Howell (widow) and showing having one child Robert M. Hagy age 19, b. Jul 1880. Robert is the son of John Hagy b. 16 Feb 1838, Tennessee, d. 20 Apr 1884, Stoddard Co., Mo. and Menervia Jane Neal. This is my input on both Robert M. Hagys.
