Hi Listers, First of all I would like to thank everyone and Melba in particular for all the wonderful information about my SHERRY surname. I haven't found out about the school yet, but I think I may have found my orphaned great grandfather's family. There was a reference to the Bernie Banner in the information I received. Was the Bernie Banner a newspaper? If so, did it post death notices? I'm pretty sure right now the Dr. Richard Sherry was my ggrandfather's father. >From the information I was given he died January 28, 1894. His wife Huldah J. died in October of 1898. If anyone can do a lookup for me it would be greatly appreciated. I am very interested in Stoddard County's History and any biographical books.
